SUmmmer Camp
Does Camp Blodgett offer financial assistance?
All of our camper fees are based on a sliding scale that uses household size and income to determine the fee. This helps keep costs low for everyone. We set aside 75% of our registrations for families with the greatest financial need. You can read more about our Service Standard on our summer camp page here. For this reason, we do not offer other financial assistance or scholarships.
Who will be allowed to stay in a family cabin?
All campers can request the family cabin during registration. This allows for greater flexibility in camper housing. For example, siblings of different genders who would like to be in the same cabin.
Can I still register my camper for a single gender cabin?
Absolutely! During the registration process, you can select which cabin you would like your camper to stay in.
Who will be supervising the family cabin?
Just like all our cabins, the family cabin will have a minimum of two cabin counselors. They will be mixed-gender pairs whenever possible.
How will bathrooms/showering/changing be handled?
All cabins have a private, one-stall bathroom, which the campers are free to use when in the cabin. When it is time to change their clothes, campers will have the option of using either the cabin bathroom one at a time, or to go as a group to the bath house, where there are individual stalls and a two-door shower area.
Do you provide transportation?

Young Leaders
Why are the ages for monthly meetings & FIERCE Cohort different this year?
We found that having such a large age gap (13-17) in the meetings & cohort made it hard to keep everyone engaged, so we decided to split the programs into two age groups.
Does my teen have to take part in school-year YL programs to be a YL at summer camp?
No, Young Leaders: School Year participation is not required, though we do recommend they join if possible! It's a great way to hone their leadership skills during the year and prepare for Young Leaders: Summer Camp. During the school year programs, they also have a chance to help plan programming and activities for the campers during summer camp.
Can my 13-year-old attend YL programs?
13-year-olds who will be 14 by June 1, 2025 are welcome to join us during the Young Leaders: School Year programs. The Young Leaders: Summer Camp program is only for teens ages 14-17.
