The Loeks Retreat Center on the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline is the perfect setting for your special event. Whether your event is a wedding, a celebration of a personal milestone or your business or organization's annual event, we will help you create the look, feel and experience you desire.
This beautiful, multi-functional venue overlooks Lake Michigan and provides spectacular views of the water and sunsets from both the dining room and the magnificent deck. The dining room can accommodate up to 150 seated guests, or 200 in an open house style event.

Pricing
Thank you for considering the Loeks Retreat Center at Camp Blodgett for your event destination! Camp Blodgett serves over 700 deserving kids year-round with our amazing summer camp, STEM Academy, Young Leaders, and other programs. Our mission is to empower youth in West Michigan through educational and recreational experiences that promote social responsibility, encourage academic success, and support the development of healthy self-esteem. Rental revenue is an important way that we can continue to provide these programs at little or no cost to participating families.
Pricing below includes rental of the space as outlined in your rental agreement, assistance and support from on-site staff and Camp Blodgett-owned furnishings such as tables and chairs (see Rental FAQ for a listing of available furnishings). Additional furnishings (special chairs, tables, etc.) and services to be obtained at renter’s discretion by outside vendors.
Peak Season Rentals
Rates effective May 1 – Sept 30
Wedding Weekend Special: $18,000
Imagine hosting your rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, reception, and morning-after breakfast all at a single, private destination, located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Sound good? Then this is the package for you!
The “Wedding Weekend Special” at the Loeks Retreat Center grants you exclusive use of the Dining Room, adjacent Conference Room A, Kitchen, Deck, all eight private lodging rooms (beds for up to 30, 14 queen beds in 7 rooms, and one king bed in our “bridal suite”) and two dorm rooms (bunks for 18) from Friday at 3:30pm through Sunday at noon (alternate in/out times may be considered). The “Wedding Weekend Special” also comes with private gathering rooms for the bride, groom and attendants to get ready for the big day. Stunning views of Lake Michigan can be seen from the bridal gathering room, all eight lodging rooms, the Dining Room, Conference Room A, and the Deck.

Saturday/ available Holidays - 9:00 a.m. to midnight $9,600
Friday - 9:00 a.m. to midnight (not available during camp season) $7,800
Sunday - 9:00 a.m. to midnight $7,200
Monday through Thursday - 9:00 a.m. to midnight (holidays excluded) $4,800
Friday Special – 3:30 pm to midnight (camp season only, call for dates) $6,600
NOTE: All applicable State tax is applied to rental rates quoted above. A refundable $1,000 security deposit is required with all event rentals to ensure proper care and cleanliness of all facilities. Please be advised that for all rentals, a charge of $100.00 per half hour will be assessed when the facility is used past the departure time specified in the agreement.
Off Season Rentals
Rates effective October 1 – April 30
Winter Weekend Special: $11,400
The “Winter Weekend Special” at the Loeks Retreat Center at Camp Blodgett grants you exclusive use of the Dining Room, adjacent Conference Room A, Kitchen, Deck, all eight private lodging rooms (beds for up to 30, 14 queen beds in 7 rooms, and one king bed in “bridal suite”) and two dorm rooms (bunks for 18) from Friday at 3:30pm through Sunday at noon (alternate in/out times may be considered). The Loeks Retreat Center at Camp Blodgett offers eight private lodging rooms for use by event guests. With private bathrooms and incredible Lake Michigan views, these hotel-style rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. A minimum rental of four rooms per night is required. Check-out at noon.
Private Room (sleeps 4, two queen beds): $198/night (with above rental)
For a more communal environment, you may wish to rent the bunk-style dorm rooms located on the first
floor. Bathrooms are across the hall. Linens are not provided for the Dorm rooms. Check-out at noon.
Bunk Room (sleeps 16): $450/night (with above rental)
