Welcome to Cup of Camp,
We’re excited to bring back our monthly newsletter and share a fresh way to stay connected to Camp Blodgett. Think of this as your monthly sip of camp life where you will find stories that inspire, updates that matter, and glimpses of the impact happening on the shores of Lake Michigan at Camp Blodgett.
If you’ve been part of our story for years or are just getting to know us, we’re grateful you’re here.
Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan, Camp Blodgett serves more than 700 youth each year thanks to the support of community investment.
Here, young people gain confidence, find belonging, and discover new possibilities through free school year and low-cost summer programs.
Camp Blodgett is more than cabins and campfires, it’s a place where you can witness growth, connection, and courage take root. Cup of Camp exists to share those moments.
Thank you for being part of the story!
Camp Magic Moments
Home for the Holidays
Camp Blodgett kicked off our Alumni Association with a holiday celebration this December, reuniting former campers, staff and their families back at camp. You can learn more about our Alumni Association on our website.
Loeks Retreat Center Siding Project
The retreat center received all new composite siding this Fall/Winter. A long overdue project that will protect the building from the coastal elements for years to come. You can learn more about renting the Loeks Retreat Center on our website.
Winter Day Camp
Campers enjoyed winter Olympic games, touching snow like a penguin and designing their own hot chocolate cup. Snow much fun learning and playing in the snow.

Make an Impact with Camp Blodgett
There’s a moment at Camp Blodgett when something shifts. You can see it in a camper who decides to try something new. In a smile that comes easier. In a voice that grows stronger and a step that feels braver. That’s the magic of camp and it’s something you can help make possible.
From now through May, we are seeking campership and sponsorship support to ensure the success of summer 2026.
New this year is Camp Champs Breakfast - a table sponsorship event on April 16 at the Revel Center in Grand Rapids. Can you be one of the 25 leaders needed to serve as a Camp Champ?
